Why P&X exists

Too much landscape work is done because that’s how it’s always been done: the same cuts, the same plantings, the same mistakes, copied from the site next door. People who try to do the right thing often give up and go back to the status quo, because nobody explained what was possible. Plenty of money goes into landscapes that were never going to last.

P&X exists to change that — to take the jargon out of the field, to show that a sustainable, native landscape isn’t “ugly” or “too wild,” and to make good practice the ordinary way the work gets done. It doesn’t have to be painful, and you should understand what you’re paying for and why.

P&X is one credentialed arborist who walks your site, runs the diagnosis and signs the report. Recommendations are grounded in measurement and published science, and ecosystem-services figures come from the same engine that powers TerraValue.

What P&X won’t do

A report is only worth something if it can’t be bought. P&X won’t shape findings to reach the outcome a client wants when that conflicts with professional ethics, the ISA Code of Ethics, or the law. That means no labelling a tree dead, dying or hazardous so it can come down without paying for it, no replanting plan written for compliance on paper when the trees are coming out anyway, and no false permit application or inventory. Those requests get a polite, firm no.

William Park is employed by the City of Sandy Springs as its Urban Forester and Sustainability Coordinator. P&X Consulting is a separate, independent practice. P&X does not accept engagements within the City of Sandy Springs’ jurisdiction, or on any matter that comes before the City for review.
